To cut in either direction, just move the platic housing containing the rotating circular blade.
The rotary cutter has a self-sharpening blade that rotates within a plastic casing, safely insuring perfectly straight and rectangular cuts.

The aluminuml base plate featuress cm/mm measurements accross the top and down the cutting edge, also inch measurement down the cutting edge (No. 844 cm/mm across top, bottom and cutting edge), including formats for DIN sizes. Standard photo-formats are printed on the base. Cutting height: 0.7mm.
